Cyclist Phil Gaimon Hosts 'The Original Cookie Fondo' Ride to Benefit No Kid Hungry
Celebrity and Michelin Star chefs including Jeff Mahin, Michael Voltaggio and more will provide cookies and gourmet lunch options for participating riders
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Renowned cyclist, Phil Gaimon, will host a fundraising ride benefitting national anti-hunger campaign, No Kid Hungry, and its efforts to end childhood hunger in the United States on October 14-15. The cookie-themed fundraiser proclaimed as 'The Original Cookie Fondo,' will take place in Malibu and is designed for riders of all abilities to participate and support the cause. With the support of celebrity and Michelin Star chefs, participating riders will also have the opportunity to indulge in cookies at each rest stop as well as gourmet lunch options before and after the ride. Proceeds from the event will be contributed toward No Kid Hungry's annual Chefs Cycle initiative, a fundraising endurance event that encourages award-winning chefs and members of the culinary community to fight hunger outside the kitchen.

Gaimon started 'Gran Fondo,' a mass-participation bike ride, as a way for Los Angeles-based cyclists to train amongst the city traffic.
