Cycle For Survival Surpasses $100 Million Raised For Rare Cancer Research In First Decade Of Events

NEW YORK, April 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cycle for Survival, the national movement to beat rare cancers, finished its 2016 events with a record-breaking fundraising total of $30 million, which brings the overall total to more than $105 million since it was founded a decade ago.

Starting as a single event in New York City, Cycle for Survival now has events in 15 cities across the country, each with rides led by instructors from Equinox, its founding partner. With significant fundraising achievements year-after-year, Cycle for Survival has earned recognition as the fastest-growing athletic fundraising event in the country.*
The Cycle for Survival community is dedicated to supporting innovative research that is changing the way cancer is diagnosed and treated. 100 percent of every dollar raised is allocated within six months to rare cancer research and clinical trials led by Memorial Sloan Kettering, which owns and operates Cycle for Survival.
