CyberSource Executive Chairman's 2009 Stock Trading Plan Completed

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CyberSource Corporation (Nasdaq: CYBS) today announced a clarification regarding recent sales of CyberSource common stock by William S. McKiernan, the company's Executive Chairman. All sales of CyberSource common stock by William S. McKiernan since 2004 have been executed pursuant to pre-determined trading plans established to comply with Rule 10b5-1(c)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. Recent sales by Mr. McKiernan, including sales effected on December 28, 2009 and December 29, 2009, were executed pursuant to a pre-determined trading plan that was entered into by Mr. McKiernan on March 6, 2009. The aggregate number of shares to be sold under the plan and the threshold prices for sales under the plan were established on or before March 6, 2009. Sales under this plan have been completed and no further sales will be made under the March 6, 2009 plan through its expiration date of February 28, 2010. Mr. McKiernan has historically established a pre-determined trading plan each year since 2004 and can be expected to continue this practice.
