Cumulus Media Networks Joins Marketron's Network Connect Creating the Most Robust Network Solution in the Industry
Marketron Continues to Add Market-Leading Networks to its List of Partners
HAILEY, Idaho, Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketron, the leading provider of software solutions and business services for the media industry, today announced the completion of the interface connecting Cumulus Media Networks' network traffic system with Network Connect, a service that fully automates the process of network orders and scheduling for media groups. The addition of Cumulus Media Networks, which has more than 4,000 affiliate radio stations, allows Marketron to bring greater value to its customers using Network Connect and expand its top tier list of major media organization integrations.
"As one of the largest media networks in the country, it's important for Cumulus Media Networks to foster partnerships with the best technology and solutions providers in the space," said Alfred Lutter, Chief Technology Officer at Cumulus Media Networks. "Each year, our affiliates reach over 121 million listeners in the 12+ demographic each week, and the Cumulus integration with Network Connect creates a valuable and efficient workflow for our affiliate stations and advertisers. We look to leaders like Marketron to propel our industry forward. Network Connect is a prime example of just that."
Network Connect, a component of Marketron's Mediascape program, eliminates the tremendous amount of time and effort media companies spend processing network orders. With this integration, Cumulus Media Networks' affiliate radio stations can take advantage of Network Connect's proven ability to minimize network spot makegoods, eliminate the manual work of entering network orders into the station traffic system and electronically return exact spot times to Cumulus Media Networks for improved performance and reporting. Prior to Network Connect, orders, copy instructions and revisions related to fulfilling network contracts were a complex process that cost radio stations an enormous amount of time and makegoods. Network Connect addresses these challenges and is exclusively available from Marketron.
"At Marketron we pride ourselves on developing best-in-class technology and services for our customers," said Jeff Haley, President and CEO of Marketron. "Cumulus Media Networks' integration with our Network Connect service is another example of how Marketron is delivering game changing solutions to our customers and advertisers. Through Network Connect, advertisers and media organizations can now more easily and efficiently make and process network orders."
With Cumulus Media Networks as the latest partner with Network Connect, Marketron further solidifies its position as the leading technology provider for major media organizations. The Network Connect service has already integrated with many of the industry's other large radio networks, including Dial Global, Premiere Networks and United Stations Radio Network (USRN), to name a few.
