Cummins Power Generation Acquires Office Building in Twin Cities for New Global Headquarters

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 30, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Cummins Power Generation is acquiring a new building in the Minneapolis-St. Paul suburb of Shoreview, with plans to consolidate its global headquarters there in 2011. The building is located a short distance from the current Fridley headquarters site.

The acquisition of a new headquarters building positions Cummins Power Generation for future growth because it provides more room for new employees, reduces overcrowding and creates an environment that allows employees to collaborate more easily. The creation of a new headquarters building will also clear the way for future growth at the Fridley plant, with the consolidation of engineering staff and the addition of a new structure there.
