MIAMI, April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Most Reverend Felipe de Jesus Estevez, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Miami, gave a presentation on the outstanding pastoral and social work done by the Catholic Church in Cuba and the many endeavors it has ahead, on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the University's Kennedy Hall building that houses Biscayne College, the School of Humanities and Liberal Arts. This presentation was the latest lecture in the series sponsored by The Empire (Political Science Club) and coordinated by Dr. Giselle Jamison – professor of political science – in conjunction with her class "Cuba After Castro." Other speakers have included Jose Basulto of the organization Brothers to the Rescue, Dr. Uva de Aragon, Father Jose Espino and Dr. Maria D. Espino from the School of Business.
