CUB News Conference to Launch New Money-Saving Service
CHICAGO, June 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Citizens Utility Board (CUB) on Wednesday, June 2, will hold a news conference to launch CUB Energy Saver, www.CUBEnergySaver.com, the nation's first free online service that pays households for reducing their energy use, cuts their utility costs by hundreds of dollars a year, and tracks their savings by connecting to actual Commonwealth Edison bills.
A pilot version of CUB Energy Saver has so far shown Illinois families how to cut their energy bills by an average of $200 a year by following recommendations the cutting-edge service has tailored to their households. As energy prices shoot up on the verge of another expensive air-conditioning season, CUB will launch CUB Energy Saver at a news conference:

CUB, a nonprofit consumer group, formed a unique partnership with RecycleBank and Efficiency 2.0 to create CUB Energy Saver.
CUB is Illinois' leading nonprofit utility watchdog organization. Created by the Illinois
Legislature, CUB opened its doors in 1984 to represent the interests of residential and small-business utility customers.
