TORONTO, July 10, 2014 /CNW/ - With the race of the year now underway, viewers can enjoy complementary, online access that takes their THE AMAZING RACE CANADA experience to a new level. CTV announced today that customized activations from sponsors DQ Canada, Petro-Canada, and Scotiabank are available now at CTV.ca/TheAmazingRaceCanada. Among the many highlights, the site includes unprecedented access to all 11 teams, the inside scoop from host Jon Montgomery, plus the chance to win super-premium prizes including free gas for an entire year from Petro-Canada. In addition, fans can visit THE AMAZING RACE CANADA page at CTV.ca to catch up on episodes, watch exclusive sneak peeks, deleted scenes and extended mat chats, as well as view photos from the Race, and read weekly recaps and features with the eliminated teams.

All season long, viewers can visit The DQ Fan Feed, where fans can engage in all the social media buzz surrounding The Amazing Race Canada and the 11 teams. Fans can see what the teams and other fans are posting about, view photos, watch videos, and tweet their own messages to their favourite teams.
Petro-Canada will engage viewers by prompting them to "Fuel Your Favourite Team". Users will have daily opportunities to vote for their favourite teams, entering them into a contest for a chance to win free gas for a year for themselves and their favourite team. Secondary prizes will also be awarded. The selected winning team will be announced after the season finale on CTV.
Fans can access even more inside info with "Follow the Race with Jon Montgomery - brought to you by Scotiabank". Featuring exclusive content, photos and "selfie videos," fans can experience all the sights, sounds, and dramatic moments from Jon's perspective. They can also follow along with an interactive map that takes them to route markers, challenges, and Pit Stops complete with exclusive photos of the teams and locations
Season 2 of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO.
Only one team can earn the title of Season 2 champions of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA. The biggest grand prize ever awarded for a Canadian competition series has expanded this season to include "gas for life" from Petro-Canada. In addition, the winning team once again receives a $250,000 cash payout and the opportunity to fly free for a year anywhere Air Canada flies worldwide in Business Class, plus two Chevrolet Silverado High Country Edition Pickup Trucks. Teams are also competing for special pit stop prizes courtesy of Air Canada and Scotiabank, to be revealed during the broadcasts.
