"CTIA and the wireless industry thank the Subcommittee for holding today's hearing on this important issue. When passed, this bill will provide a five-year freeze on the more than 16 percent that the average wireless consumer pays in discriminatory mobile taxes and fees. We hope Subcommittee Chairman Coble and Judiciary Committee Chairman Smith will schedule H.R. 1002 for mark-up as soon as possible."
