Featured recipients are Val Renfro, a Texas grandmother who used her courage, car and a wireless device to help apprehend a purse thief; Amber and Jeremy Engel, who used a cellphone to receive real-time medical assistance and safely deliver their healthy baby; and Darrin Boehmer, who helped save a disabled man's life by calling emergency services on his wireless device.
