CTI Announces Dr. Varvara Grichko, Ph.D. was Appointed to the Board of Directors
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cavitation Technologies, Inc. (CTI) (OTC Bulletin Board: CVAT & Berlin/Stuttgart: WTC) is very pleased and proud to announce that on September 8, 2010, Dr. VARVARA GRICHKO, Ph.D. was appointed to our Board of Directors. Dr. Grichko is a highly decorated chemist and biologist. She received her B.S./M.S. in biochemistry/chemistry at the Novosibirsk State University in Russia. Dr. Grichko holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Russian Academy of Science and a Ph.D in biology from the University of Waterloo in Canada. Before joining CTI in 2008, Dr. Grichko was a research scientist and adjunct Professor at the Departments of Molecular and Structural Biochemistry and Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. She was also a co-founder and Director of Assay Development at Nanolytics, Inc. in Raleigh, NC. In her earlier career, Dr. Grichko was a Director of Microbiochemical Lab, at the Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Grichko has contributed to several books and papers in Chemistry and Biology and holds an impressive list of patents with the US, European and Russian Patent offices.
