CTEEP Distributes R$ 191.9 Million in Profits, R$ 1.27 Per Share

SAO PAULO, March 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CTEEP - Companhia de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica Paulista, the principal private sector electricity transmission concessionaire in Brazil, announces that at its meeting on March 30, 2010, the Board of Directors approved the distribution of profits in the amount of R$ 191,900,000.00 to its shareholders, corresponding to R$ 1.273758 per share of both types.

Of the total to be distributed, R$ 129,979,852.90 relates to dividends on the net income reported at the end of fiscal year 2009 and R$ 61,920,147.06 interest on equity capital with respect to the first quarter 2010.

The shares will trade ex-dividend beginning April 9, 2010, and payout will take place on April 20, 2010.

To date, CTEEP has distributed a total of R$ 705.9 million in dividends to its shareholders with respect to fiscal year 2009.
