CSX Announces Investor Day Rescheduled for May 2011
Move Will Allow Investors to See New State-of-the-Art Intermodal Terminal
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., May 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CSX Corporation (NYSE: CSX) today announced that it is moving its previously scheduled investor conference from September 21-22, 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia to May 2011 in Ohio. Specific dates and location will follow.
This change will allow conference attendees to tour the company's state-of-the-art Northwest Ohio Intermodal Terminal, which is scheduled to open in early 2011. In addition to offering the opportunity to tour the new facility, the conference will provide attendees with a chance to gain insight into the company, its strategies and its long-term financial targets.
A key part of the National Gateway project, the new Northwest Ohio Intermodal Terminal will employ the newest technology available including the use of wide-span electric cranes that will reduce on-site emissions and increase terminal productivity.
A detailed invitation will follow in the first quarter of 2011.
