Public Sector Workers Call on University System to Honor Contract
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Members of Teamsters Local 2010 will rally on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 11:30 a.m. in support of thousands of workers across the California State University (CSU) system. CSU has repeatedly engaged in anti-union conduct, including bargaining in bad faith and failing to pay workers the raises guaranteed by their contract.
The group of 1,100 administrative and skilled trades workers ratified a Teamsters contract in 2024 and have since fought for the university system to honor its obligations, including paying members their earned raises. The Teamsters call on CSU to keep its promises and respect their contract.
