CSL Behring and Its Employees Pass $1 Million Mark in Charitable Donations to Communities Throughout the U.S.

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Feb. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CSL Behring's U.S. locations in King of Prussia and Kankakee, Il., and its subsidiary, CSL Plasma headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla., raised more than $1 million in 2015 for a wide array of charities, setting a new company record.
They included the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey, and the Kankakee and Iroquois County, Ill. chapters of United Way, and a number of other local chapters throughout the U.S. where CSL Plasma centers are located. CSL Behring matches 100 percent of the funds raised by employees for United Way.
In addition to United Way, other non-profit groups that benefitted in 2015 from CSL Behring and CSL Plasma included Children's Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia, Immune Deficiency Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Employees not only provided financial assistance, they also volunteered their time in the communities by providing and packaging food at area food banks, planting flowers and trees, picking up trash and much more.
