CSC's Special Events II Awarded 2 New Contracts for 2010

NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Contemporary Services Corporation's (CSC) Special Events II jump starts 2010 with two newly garnered contracts to provide event and security services for major events hosted by both The Monterey Peninsula Foundation and Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction.

The Monterey Peninsula Foundation enhances the quality of life in Monterey County and surrounding areas through strategic distribution of charitable funds generated by hosting the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the Wal-Mart First Tee Open. Scheduled for February 2010, The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is a 72-hole PGA Tour golf championship that began in the 1930s. Top tour professionals will unite with Hollywood celebrities, world-renowned musicians and other famous industry names as they compete for a $6.1 million purse.  Special Events II will team with CSC's San Francisco branch office and Steve Worthy, Executive Vice President for The Monterey Peninsula Foundation, to ensure a successful event.

Special Events II will also partner with the 39th Annual Barrett Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, AZ. Barrett-Jackson, a family-run auction company, offers the world's most desirable vehicles and remains at the forefront by offering an experience that appeals to everyone This year's event will take place January 18th - January 24th with the number of visitors expected to reach in excess of 200,000. Headlining the 2010 show is the first production '66 Shelby GT350, SFM6S002, one of two Shelby vehicles in the docket of cars slated to be sold.  During the 2008 auction, 1,106 cars were sold with $4.4 million raised for charity.
