Cryptocurrency Prices Rebound With Renewed Investor Interest

Bitcoin price has jumped on the news that BlackRock Inc. has assembled a working group for the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. On Monday, BlackRock's Chief Executive, Larry Fink, said in an interview with Reuters, that the asset-management giant has a working group studying the blockchain and cryptocurrency, but he didn't expect such high investor demand. According to data from CoinMarketCap, bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap, rose 4.58% to USD 6,6676.95 on Monday. Recent developments in the market indicates that institutional investors' involvement in cryptocurrency continued to increase.
