Cruise Nights Return to Walter P. Chrysler Museum
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Set the cruise calendar on automatic this summer with Cruise Nights at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Mich. The fun is slated for 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, June 8 and 22, July 13 and 27 and Aug. 10 and 24.
The sixth annual series is presented by Golling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Golling FIAT in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. and Shuman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Walled Lake, Mich.
Cruise Nights returns to the Museum's spacious parking lot – rain or shine – with music, food, "best of" trophies – and a theme for each evening:

The Golling and Shuman dealerships will display a selection of new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and FIAT models each Cruise Night and representatives of both dealerships will be on hand to demonstrate vehicle features and to answer questions.
"Best of" trophies will be awarded at 7:15 p.m. each Cruise Night.
The Museum will be open after-hours for self-guided tours, including 70 Years of Jeep, a special exhibition of eight rotating production and concept models that celebrate the iconic vehicle's milestone anniversary.
The focal point of the exhibition is a 1941 Willys MA, one of approximately 45 known original models in the world, an estimated 20 of which are restored. Of the 20 restored vehicles, eight are in the U.S. Willys MA78621 is on loan from the private collection of George and Bernadette Hollins of Palos Park, Ill. who have traced the vehicle's origins back to July 5, 1941, the day it was delivered to the U.S. Army from the Willys-Overland plant in Toledo, Oh.
Reduced after-hours Museum admission of $2 per adult and $1 per youth (6 – 12) – regularly $8 and $4, respectively – is available each Cruise Night and includes entry to the 70 Years of Jeep exhibition. Admission is free for children five and younger.
The Walter P. Chrysler Museum is located on Chrysler Group LLC's headquarters complex in Auburn Hills, Mich., accessible from I-75 at exit 78 (Chrysler Dr.).
