Cruise Critic Announces Partnership with Carnival Cruise Line
World's largest cruise community launches exclusive member events onboard Carnival sailings
EWING, N.J., April 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cruise Critic®, the world's leading cruise reviews site and online cruise community, has announced a partnership with Carnival Cruise Line to offer its members access to exclusive onboard events.
The partnership marks the sixth cruise line to partner with Cruise Critic for its popular Meet & Mingle events. As part of the partnership, Carnival Cruise Line will host private parties on cruises of seven days or longer for Cruise Critic members who have signed up prior to sailing – a private room and refreshments and snacks will be provided by the cruise line.
"We're thrilled to partner with Carnival," said Mike Ewing, General Manager of Cruise Critic. "Extending our Meet & Mingle program to thousands of Carnival cruisers online offers a unique opportunity for Cruise Critic members to meet as they cruise together. Cruising is an incredibly social form of travel – with tens of thousands taking to our forums each year to meet ahead of their sailings – and our Meet & Mingle events offer cruise lines the opportunity to meet some of their most passionate fans."
In addition to Carnival, five other lines offer official Meet & Mingle programs: Silversea Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises and Royal Caribbean International.
To attend a Cruise Critic Meet & Mingle, cruisers must be registered Cruise Critic members and sign up for the event on the Cruise Critic community forums. Cruise Critic membership is free and open to the public.
