In an interview with Reuters, the Crown Prince acknowledged that mistakes had been made, but that a national dialogue was underway to address the concerns of the Bahraini people.
"Undoubtedly, mistakes have been made by all sides during the recent period, but lessons are being learnt," he said. "With the end of the (national safety) days..., substantial activity is underway to comprehensively address core issues of national and international concern."
The Crown Prince reiterated The Kingdom's support for comprehensive reform under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad.
"Bahrain is fully committed to continuous reform, a program led by His Majesty King Hamad over the past decade," he said. "However ... the speed of progress must be guided by the ability to achieve consensus."
