Crowell & Moring's New York Office Gains Financial Services Partner Robert Carey

WASHINGTON, March 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its New York office with the addition of partner Robert T. Carey to the firm's Financial Services Group. Carey advises a wide range of financial institutions and investors in general securities law and high-yield debt offerings and represents bondholders in financial restructurings. He joins the firm from Bracewell & Giuliani LLP.

Carey advises issuers and investors in a full range of matters pertaining to debt, new issuances, and restructuring. Additionally, he advises financial institutions and hedge funds with respect to indenture disputes and issues concerning complex indenture analysis.

Carey worked in London more than five years while developing a strong background in international capital markets and emerging market deals in Russia and Eastern Europe. Carey received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
