SPRINGFIELD, Mo., July 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CrowdIt (www.crowdit.com), the first company to bring business networking and support services into the crowdfunding experience, today announced that many of its projects are gaining momentum toward reaching their funding goals. Recently, the project entitled "Maddie: A book about a girl with no hair," surpassed its goal with other projects also making strides toward reaching their funding objectives. To date, CrowdIt has more than 200 Dreamer projects posted on its site with more being submitted daily. Projects have been submitted from a total of 37 states and countries that range from small to very large, with an average project size of around $50,000. The CrowdIt community already has more than 1,800 registered Dreamers (project owners) and Believers (project supporters). Suits (business professionals and mentors) will soon be able to join the site as well. Anyone can sign into the CrowdIt community to search for like-minded partners, engage in conversation and collaborate toward the success of the crowdfunding project. New collaboration, peer review, sharing and social network features are underway and will be added soon to foster greater interaction and ultimately, success for Dreamers.
CrowdIt has created strong industry buzz and attracted a large initial number of projects and users due to its mission to revolutionize the crowdfunding industry by adding value beyond just the funding event. Unlike first-generation crowdfunding sites, its model provides much-needed support for success through mentoring, peer-review and third-party support services, while extending the crowdfunding experience to the professional community at large through an interactive and engaging social network.
"It is so gratifying to see these projects realize the promise of possible success," said Jason Graf, co-founder and CEO of CrowdIt. "It is inspiring to help people take their goals to the next level as we enter an entire new generation and way of creating and building sustainable dreams. Through our community of peers and experts, along with our collaborative capabilities, they will have an even better chance to fully succeed."
Graf noted that other Dreamer projects that are nearing their funding goals on CrowdIt include: CrossFit Gym for Cave Creek, Arizona and Axumite and Tomoca: Better Coffee=Better Ethiopia. More successful Dreams can also be found at (www.crowdit.com).
