James Pérez Foster is a seasoned board member with national Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) board experience. He is a management consultant with more than 25 years of strategic growth and impact investment advisory experience. A published expert on U.S. underserved market segments for global financial services and banking institutions, he is the founder of Bainbridge Advisors, LLC, a consulting and research firm that serves financial institutions and federal agencies focused on the U.S. Hispanic market and underserved market segments. Pérez Foster also founded Solera National Bancorp, a federally chartered bank holding company that is credited as one of the first Hispanic-markets focused commercial banks in the country. He has a BA in International Relations from Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
Ray Kembel currently serves as executive vice president at Oakwood Bank. A proven finance professional with a depth of knowledge in both real estate transactions and commercial credit, he has been actively involved in more than $5 billion of real estate and commercial credit transactions since 1993. He previously served in other management positions at Bank of America, Staubach Capital Partners and Green Bank. Kembel holds a Finance degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio and an MBA from The University of Dallas.
