PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Aug. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Crossmatch®, a globally-recognized leader in biometric identity management and secure authentication solutions, has agreed to settle a complaint filed in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware in May 2017 against Integrated Biometrics, LLC related to alleged infringement of Crossmatch patents on fingerprint scanning technology.
Crossmatch will grant a royalty-bearing license payable by Integrated Biometrics based on their past and future sales.
As per the settlement agreement, the parties desire to settle the litigation without the expenditure of further time and expense and are requesting that the District Court dismiss with prejudice all claims brought by Crossmatch against Integrated Biometrics.
