TORRANCE, Calif., April 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JumpStart® today announced the release of its newest mobile game, JumpStart Pet Rescue, based on the critically-acclaimed, best-selling Nintendo Wii™ title. The app is available now through iTunes®, Google Play™ and Kindle®, and will be coming to Nook® stores soon. This game is designed to bring one of JumpStart's key preschool learning experiences to mobile devices.

JumpStart Pet Rescue is designed to engage preschool-aged children in adventure-filled education and excitement.  Children can explore five immersive lands throughout the game in order to rescue their lost animals. Using their personalized Jumpee™ avatars, players can care for their adopted furry friends as they meet some of the beloved JumpStart friends like Frankie™, Hops-a-Lot and others.  Through interactive books, songs and mini learning games, children exercise core educational skills such as problem solving, vocabulary and counting that will open the door to a lifetime love of learning.
