Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB): Shares of Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) slipped 3.82% to US$20.88 and made a new 52-week low of US$20.84, the fourth straight day of declines after the company's announcement of the first earnings report. In the second quarter, Facebook's revenue was increased by 32% to US$1.18 billion, but that was the company's slowest growth rate since the first quarter of 2011. In addition, the number of daily average users as a percentage of monthly average users fell 60 basis points to 57.8%, its first such drop in a couple of years. Facebook traded 44.38 million shares in the last trading session, well above its daily average of 25.95 million shares. Exelon Corporation (NYSE:EXC): On August 1, Exelon Corporation (NYSE:EXC) posted its financial results for the second quarter of 2012. Exelon's total operating revenue for the quarter was US$6.4 billion, compared with total operating revenue of US$4.5 billion for the same quarter of 2011, a growth of 42%. The company also reaffirmed its full-year earnings guidance range of US$2.55 to US$2.85 per share and expects operating earnings in the range of 65 cents to 75 cents for the next quarter. Moreover, the Board of Directors of Exelon recently approved a common quarterly dividend of US$0.525 per share, payable on September 10, 2012 to shareholders of record on August 15, 2012. In the last trading session, Exelon shares fell 2.24% to US$38.24 with heavy volume traded, which was 3.8 times more than usual.
