'The Nets' are a portfolio of 6 networks, first established in 2001. They include pvnet®, pvconnect®, pvtech®, labelnet®, rimnet©, and cmonet©. Each network is tailored to a specific audience based on function and interest. With more than 60 Life Science member companies, the Nets community is the industry's leading network, where executives can discuss trends, compare approaches, generate insights, and develop future solutions. Each network has a focused and evolving agenda developed by members to identify and address the 'hot topics' relevant to them.
Key topics to be discussed at the upcoming meetings include;
- The emerging regulatory environment – upcoming legislation on:
- Global Pharmacovigilance, Labelling, and Regulatory Affairs
- Data privacy and information law and their impact on how the industry can apply digital media to enhance patient safety
- The 2015 results and industry ranking/benchmark of pharmacovigilance indicators
- The era of predictive safety science – new technologies and strategies to use real world data to support medical objectives
- End-to-end labelling and product communication strategy – how to get the latest product information to global patient populations, quickly, accurately, and across all media
- The technology landscape – new tools and systems for digital media screening, predictive science, data transparency, and submission management. Frameworks to implement E2B R3 and IDMP
Speakers include: Navitas Thought Leaders, Sidley Austin LLP legal practitioners, a representative from Oracle, an ENCePP EMA expert, and representatives from both Harvard Medical School and Drexel University.
The philosophy behind each network is to provide a platform for industry peers to learn and share from one another in an open environment. Through annual and semi–annual reports, the Nets deliver benchmark information to compare and measure operational and organizational performance. The Nets also allow executives the ability to discuss key issues facing organizations with 'hot topics' addressed by action teams. The Nets provide a regular forum for executives to derive best practices to develop innovative future solutions to tackle shared challenges while providing access to the latest industry insights.
pvnet is a network for Heads of Safety of top 25 life science companies. pvconnect is for Heads of Safety of mid-sized life science companies. pvtech is for Heads of Information Technology for Safety departments. labelnet is for labelling professionals focused on the full lifecycle of labelling. rimnet is an open forum for life science executives active in the emerging area of Regulatory Information Management (RIM). cmonet is an exclusive network for Chief Medical Officers that addresses strategic topics within the CMO remit.
Following the May and June Nets meetings, the next round of Net events will take place in October and November. For more information on the Nets, please visit www.navitas.net or email [email protected]
