Crestline Hotels & Resorts Announces the Appointment of Jean-Pierre Lamarre to General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard
FAIRFAX, Va., July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Jean-Pierre Lamarre as General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard hotel. The hotel was recently acquired by Chesapeake Lodging Trust, a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). The Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard is a 204 guestroom hotel which is the closest property to the Washington Nationals Baseball Stadium and in close proximity to Capitol Hill. The 14-story hotel, which is perfect for business and leisure travel, also includes 2,215 square feet of meeting and event space. It is within walking distance to the Navy Yard Metro Station.
Mr. Lamarre joined Crestline Hotels & Resorts in 2009 as General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel, which is also a Crestline managed property. He brings more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience to this role having been General Manager for the Holiday Inn Boston-Brookline. He has also held various executive operations positions with Colwen Management Inc. including General Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Manchester Airport, NH and the General Manager for the TownePlace Suites by Marriott also in Manchester, NH, as well as management positions with Sage Hotels and Marriott International.
