Builder and Developer Scott Dozier Picked to Lead Atlanta Market
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Crescent Resources, LLC named Scott Dozier vice president of the residential division with responsibility for the Atlanta market. As vice president of Crescent's residential division, he will oversee the company's residential interests in the Atlanta region, which include The River Club – one of Crescent's premier residential communities.
A 22-year veteran of the development and construction industries, Dozier was previously the owner and founder of Dozier Builder Group, an Atlanta-based general commercial contractor and builder.
"Scott has a strong background in all aspects of home building, especially sales and marketing," said Margaret Jennesse, senior vice president of the residential division. "His in-depth knowledge of the Atlanta market, particularly with building high-end luxury homes, will make Scott a tremendous asset for us."
Dozier's primary focus will be The River Club in Suwanee, Ga., which sits on the banks of the Chattahoochee River and was crafted with sincere respect for the land. Amenities include The Lodge with a main dining room, members' lounge, men's and ladies' locker rooms and a fully equipped pro shop.
The Lakeside Family Sports Center features zero-entry interactive swimming pools, eight lighted tennis courts, a junior Olympic pool, a fitness center and an activities director to plan events. The River Club's 18-hole golf course, designed by Greg Norman, features ten golf holes that play along or across one of the community's five lakes.
"The River Club, with its natural beauty and luxury amenities, is a signature community for one of the most prestigious real estate developers in the Southeast," Dozier sad. "I'm thrilled to be able to work with one of the Atlanta area's most distinguished and exciting properties, as well as seek out potential development opportunities throughout the metro area for Crescent."
Dozier was previously an advisor for Carwin Advisory Services in Dallas and Atlanta and Halter Properties in Atlanta, both real estate advisory services firms. He was also a senior vice president at John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, a regional home builder headquartered in Smyrna, Ga.
