CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Crescent Communities has been named to the 2015 Inc. Magazine list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, joining an elite group of innovative firms whose previous ranks have included household names like Microsoft, Oracle, Timberland and Chobani.

To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2014. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.)
