WASHINGTON, March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Credit Union Times, a Summit Professional Networks publication, named its 2014 Trailblazer Award winners during the 9th annual Trailblazer Awards reception during CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, DC. This year's winners were honored at a reception held February 25, which was attended by hundreds of credit union professionals.
"Every year when CU Times editorial staffers study all of the Trailblazer Awards nominations, it's an increasingly humble experience to realize we are fortunate enough to serve the credit union community," said Publisher/Editor-in-Chief Sarah Snell Cooke. "The work our Trailblazers, and all credit union executives, do truly matters. Credit unions have been hit from every angle, whether financial or regulatory or technological advances, over the last several years, but one thing remains: You do the hard work for all of the right reasons. CU Times' Trailblazers exemplify the best of what credit unions have to offer."
Unbiased and open to all credit union professionals and volunteers, the Trailblazer Awards showcase the best of the credit union industry in eight different categories. The 2014 Trailblazer Awards winners are:
