Credit Union Success and Service Leads to Hiring and Job Creation at Community Financial

PLYMOUTH, Mich., July 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  Credit Unions across the country have seen record-breaking membership and asset growth recently, leading to more hiring in the industry, including Community Financial Credit Union.

Since January 2012, Community Financial -- which serves Plymouth, Canton, Northville and Novi; as well as Otsego, Montmorency and Alpena Counties -- has hired 21 new team members, including Tom Tuckey, a mortgage loan officer in Plymouth.  Tuckey has eleven years of mortgage experience and holds a Master of Science degree from Walsh College and a BA from Michigan State University.

According to a recent National Credit Union Administration report, through the first quarter of 2012, credit unions around the country combined for a record 92.5 million members.
