CreativeDrive Announces New CMO
Continues to Onboard Talent from Holding Companies to Create a Business Model for the Future
NEW YORK, July 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CreativeDrive, an independent global content creation model, today announced that Amy Romero, a former marketing and business executive with Omnicom Group's Ketchum, has resigned to join CreativeDrive as Chief Marketing Officer.
In her new role, Romero will be responsible for growth by communicating the benefits of CreativeDrive's new model and showcasing the boundless creativity of its strategic collective of thinkers, makers and doers.
"Amy brings a variety of experience to the table, ranging from content creation to marketing communications and business development. She will be a great leader and liaison to our team and clients as we evolve our unique content creation model in a meaningful, innovative way," said CreativeDrive CEO Myles Peacock.
"CreativeDrive helps brands stay ahead of the rapidly changing media landscape by providing them with a simple but innovative solution through its platform of skilled talent and leading technology," Peacock said. "We present our clients with unmatched solutions for premier content creation and have the rare ability to go from concept to the customer at a scale and speed that today's clients and consumers demand. Amy totally gets that mission."
Romero noted, "The way we consume and discover content is rapidly changing and greatly impacts our clients' needs for high-quality, memorable content quickly and efficiently in any language or format. CreativeDrive bridges the gap between those who make content and those who know their consumers best. This solution is long overdue and I am proud to be a part of CreativeDrive's pioneering model."
This is not the first time Romero has paved the way for new models and offerings. She joined Rapp in 2003 during the height of the dial-up to broadband internet transformation. Under her leadership, she trained and marketed the company's TV and digital team and offerings. Just four years later, she was one of the pioneers at Ketchum who created and marketed the company's digital business division to meet the demands of the social media landscape. Before taking her expertise to corporate agencies, Amy embarked on producing content and marketing solutions for entertainment brands, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, HBO, MSNBC and Varsity Entertainment.
CreativeDrive also announced that Ray Redmond, who has worked at Seven Worldwide, TBWA Worldwide, IPG's Adverdian and Metro Media Technologies' sports and events division, has joined CreativeDrive in the newly created position overseeing OneKreate operations as the Managing Director of Hollywood, Florida and Columbus, Ohio.
At the same time, CreativeDrive has promoted Tere Robinson to Managing Director for its Atlanta and Bentonville operations. In this new position, Robinson assumes responsibility for OneKreate & Totem in Atlanta and Bentonville, a full-service design, motion, photography creation and execution division within CreativeDrive. She was previously VP of Operations for OneKreate Atlanta.
The appointments follow CEO Myles Peacock's move to CreativeDrive in March from the Omnicom Group. Former Dataminr, GroupM and Havas executive Louis-Philippe Cavallo also was named CFO of CreativeDrive in Fall 2016.
