The Earth Day campaign highlighted Goodwill SOLAC's e-waste recycling and secure document shredding services as the latest examples of the Goodwill's long history of green stewardship, a founding principle that helps support Goodwill's commitment to transforming lives through the power of work. For the 40th Anniversary Earth Day event, Goodwill partnered with California State University, Long Beach to collect household e-waste items and documents to be shredded, and donated clothing and other items for resale in Goodwill SOLAC retail stores.
