DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Sept. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) has named the Creating IT Futures Foundation as a finalist in the Workforce Development category for the 2014 Tekne Awards, which will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Thursday, Nov. 13. The Tekne Awards honor Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.

IT-Ready will be offered regularly by Per Scholas in Dallas beginning later this year, and a pop-up IT-Ready program will enroll a single class of students in Omaha on October 27. Employers in those cities who want to take advantage of work-ready, CompTIA A+ certified workers should contact Creating IT Futures. Those interested in enrolling should visit ITReady.com.
