Create Multilingual Social Networks on iPhones with TGMobile by LinguaSys

TGMobile offers over 50 languages in a single chat room, the creation of multiple chat rooms, scalablity up to 500 users per room and personal translation options for $2.99.  Initially written as proof-of-concept translation application for the military, LinguaSys is now making powerful TGMobile translation capability available to iPhone users.  A high-end, behind-the-firewall version is available for the enterprise.  Companies can interact with customers around the world in real time, improve international customer relations, or brand product chat rooms across language barriers.  

Can't understand the signs or menus in a foreign country?  TGPhoto lets you take a picture of foreign words with your iPhone and translates the text instantly in over 50 languages.  The TGPhoto app can be downloaded from iTunes for a one-time fee of $9.99.  Users set source and target languages for the text to be photographed, fill the screen with as much foreign text as possible, touch the shutter button and view the translation seconds later.  The display shows both the original text and the translation.  TGPhoto is easy to use, activates a phone's existing photo flash for higher resolution and is server-based for higher quality.  Enterprises can attach TGPhoto to in-house customized Machine Translation (MT) servers to control data and content.
