MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CRAVE, recently named a Hot Concepts! award winner by Nation's Restaurant News, is opening a new location in the Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables, Fla., on Dec.9. This will be the seventh location nationwide for the rapidly growing restaurant concept and its second Florida location.

CRAVE brings its fresh and innovative cuisine to the Coral Gables market, along with an impeccable wine selection brought to life in a chic, yet casual atmosphere. CRAVE delivers an extensive menu at a value-driven price point, with items ranging from a full sushi bar and Certified Angus Beef steaks to fresh seafood, pastas, salads and fire-baked pizzas that are continually re-mastered using the freshest seasonal ingredients.

The 9,000-plus square-foot restaurant offers private and semi-private dining rooms, and a large adjacent outdoor patio that includes a full bar, outdoor dining and a lounge area, all of which are available for private parties, corporate meetings and other affairs; the restaurant is also available for buy outs.

CRAVE will offer an early and a late happy hour: Sunday – Friday from 3 – 6 p.m. and Sunday –Wednesday from 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. On Friday and Saturday, patrons can enjoy music and entertainment from 9:30 p.m. to close.

In 2007, the Minneapolis-based restaurant chain opened its first location in Minnesota. Now with four locations in the state, CRAVE includes a location in Mall of America and a downtown restaurant that features one of Minneapolis' largest rooftop patios. Over the past four years, CRAVE has grown to seven locations nationwide, including restaurants in Omaha, Neb., and Orlando, Fla., which both opened in 2010. CRAVE has seen tremendous success in these markets and hopes to replicate it in Coral Gables.
