Crackle is in the 'TRENCHES'
Sci-Fi Thriller Web Series to Premiere February 16, 2010 on Crackle.com
CULVER CITY, Calif., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Crackle, Sony Pictures Entertainment's online video network, announced that the highly anticipated original sci-fi web series TRENCHES, from indie producer and director Shane Felux will premiere on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.
Three episodes will launch on February 16, with the remaining episodes to be released through March 5, 2010. There are ten episodes total, each running 5-7 minutes long.
TRENCHES is produced and directed by Felux, creator of the internet phenomenon "Star Wars Revelations" and "Pitching Lucas," the winner of the George Lucas Selects Award and the Audience Choice Award at the 2006 Official Star Wars Fan Film Awards at Comic-Con.
The series is set on a war-torn planet during a different time. A botched rescue attempt forces a young soldier and his squad to team up with their enemy in an epic battle against merciless beasts wreaking havoc.
TRENCHES, based on an original story by Dawn Cowings and Sarah Yaworsky, is written by Cowings, Yaworsky, Peter Gamble Robinson, and Ian Shorr.
