C.R. England Drivers Recognized for Top Performance

SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- C.R. England – Global Transportation nominated three of its top drivers for Randall-Reilly and Truckload Carriers Association's Trucking's Top Rookie of the Year. Ten finalists were chosen, one of which was C.R. England's Annette Dellinger. C.R. England sent Dellinger and her family to Dallas for the Great American Trucking Show. Dellinger was not awarded the grand prize but was awarded a cash prize of $1,000 and an impressive prize package.

England's schools provide new drivers with the skills they need to be safe and effective on the road. The Rookie of the Year award is deserved by many of our new drivers."

Annette Dellinger graduated from C.R. England Premier Truck Driving School in October of 2011.  She is a second generation truck driver, following in her father's footsteps and drives team with her husband.

Jacob Chesley graduated from C.R. England Premier Truck Driving School in November of 2011.  Chesley has a passion for cars and trucks and enjoys being on the road doing what he loves.

Michael Jacobs graduated from C.R. England Premier Truck Driving School in March of 2012.  Jacobs hopes to gain experience as a driver and eventually lease his own truck and become an owner operator.

The Trucking's Top Rookie contest highlights the opportunities in the truck driving profession.  Carriers were asked to nominate their top rookie who has graduated from a PTDI certified, or NAPFTDS- or CVTA-member driver training school within the past year and has been employed by their trucking company for less than one year. Nominees will be judged on their safety performance, customer service and achievements within their organization.
