C.R. England Awards a Harley-Davidson to Top Driver in MPG Promotion

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- C.R. England, a Salt Lake City-based global transportation provider, has awarded a Harley-Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two to Richard Robinson, for showing improvement in miles per gallon average and average idle percentage for third quarter 2012.

Robinson is a company driver in the Regional Division and has been driving with C.R. England since July of 2007. During the third quarter, Robinson achieved an average of 7.95 mpg and an idle of 0.9 percent. Robinson says his fuel success come from never idling, "If the wheels aren't rolling, the engine is off."

The third quarter promotion, which ran from July 1- Sept. 30, 2012, required drivers to have met the following: availability at 75 percent or higher, an average mpg of 7.4, an idle of less than 15 percent and no chargeable late loads. Competition included drivers that had a start date no later than July 1, 2012.
