SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- C.R. England, a Salt Lake City-based global transportation provider, has announced two key changes to the leadership of the company.
Zach England has been named Vice President of Dedicated. In this role, he has responsibility for more than 1150 trucks and 1500 employees which creates over 20 percent of the company's revenue and services some of C.R. England's largest clients. Mr. England started full-time in 2004 with England Logistics, a third-party logistics company and wholly owned subsidiary of C.R. England. In that position, he created and set the foundation for England Carrier Services; a division that provides reliable and cost-effective coverage for its small carriers through accounts receivable factoring and other services. In 2007, Mr. England moved into the role of Vice President of Intermodal, where he oversaw the entire sales and operation force of the Intermodal Division. Mr. England has been a powerful force in the Intermodal Division as he executed the company's expansion from trailer on flatcar (TOFC) to container on flatcar (COFC) technology. The COFC technology was a pioneering step for the transportation industry as C.R. England became the first major U.S. provider of refrigerated containers.
Coby Bullard has been named Vice President of Intermodal. Prior to joining C. R. England, Mr. Bullard worked for BNSF Railway His significant roles there included Sr. Market Manager, Director of Operations Support, and Director of Domestic Intermodal, where he led all sales and marketing functions for BNSF's Temperature Controlled Intermodal and Expedited Truckload business units. In 2011, he was named Director of International Customer Support and was responsible for all post-sales logistics and support functions for BNSF's $3B International Business Unit. Mr. Bullard will now oversee all components of C.R. England's Intermodal offering as it solidifies itself as the refrigerated market leader.
"Today's leadership announcements are significant as they indicate a continued commitment to strengthening the leadership of the company with a broad base of capable and talented individuals," said Chad England, COO. "Zach represents the strength of the fourth generation of family ownership that is now stepping into major roles in the company. Coby brings to C. R. England a talented, new perspective that will help us grow our intermodal presence."
