In this year's list, CPM Braxis ranked 48th, the highest position achieved by a South American company and was cited for its "management capabilities" in the Services category. "To be recognized as a top 50 IT outsourcing services company in IAOP's renowned world rankings, proves that CPM Braxis possesses the world-class competencies, delivery capacity, and flexibility to compete side by side with the largest global providers," says Jose Luiz Rossi, CPM Braxis' CEO. "In serving more than 200 major clients both in Brazil and abroad, our vision is to be among the top 10 in the world and we firmly believe our company is on the right path to achieving this goal."
Rossi adds, "We have tremendous momentum to aggressively leverage our regional strength to grow business with Latin American subsidiaries of large global corporations, as well as strengthen our North American presence by aggressively marketing our fastest growing areas, including Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) and Quality Assurance and Testing (QA)."
Along with its ranking in this year's "Global Outsourcing 100," CPM Braxis was also named a "Top 50 Best Managed Global Outsourcing Vendor" in the 2009 Black Book of Outsourcing's customer satisfaction survey. "We are pleased and honored to be recognized on both prestigious lists and be ranked among the best companies in the world," says David Shpilberg, CPM Braxis' vice chairman. "This celebrates the quality of our work and dedication to excellence by our 5,500 employees and partners."
The IAOP evaluation process is similar to that used by clients when choosing their providers. Among its key criteria are company size, countries served, main cases, relevant certifications, and investment in people, processes, and technology development. The ranking is established from qualitative indicators, after strict analyses. "The Global Outsourcing 100" helps companies to easily identify the partners that will help them to stand out as leaders," said Michael Corbett, president, IAOP.
CPM Braxis' broad base of clients include leading companies in financial services, manufacturing, oil & gas, retail and telecommunications. The company services 27 companies in the "Forbes 2000;" eight of Latin America's 20 largest banks; 6 of Brazil's 10 largest companies and every major telecom company in Brazil. Additionally, CPM Braxis supports the IT structure of one of the five world largest breweries, as well as of one of the largest air companies in the Americas.
The rankings of the "Global Outsourcing 100" companies were revealed in the special advertising feature of the May 3th issue of FORTUNE® magazine.
