CPhI Expanding its Brand Presence in the USA at InformEx
AMSTERDAM, February 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
CPhI targeting increased expansion in North American market through new InformEx partnership for a cGMP Zone
CPhI, the leading global sourcing event for the pharmaceutical industry, is partnering with InformEx to launch the new, InformEx cGMP Zone at the 2015 show (3-5th February in New Orleans). This new initiative is a concerted effort by CPhI to further penetrate its brand within the thriving American pharma market and will provide a dedicated zone for pharmaceutical buyers seeking cGMP CRO/CMO services, intermediates, APIs, and process chemical technologies.
The launch of the InformEx cGMP Zone expands on the partnership that InformEx and CPhI undertook in 2014, with the unveiling of the joint USA pharma market report. The report specifically focused on the contrasting perspectives and the growth outlook across domestic manufacturers and international firms working within the USA.
CPhI and InformEx aim to harness their brands' synergies to create a new business platform for the benefit of the pharma industry working in the region. A recent visit to CPhI Worldwide by InformEx directors provided valuable feedback for expanding the content and exhibitor portfolio for InformEx 2015. Robyn Duda, InformEx brand director, spoke with several pharma professionals who expressed a desire for greater pharma resources at the US-based event.
Already, 35% of exhibitors at InformEx work specifically within the CRO/CMO and pharma outsourcing services sector and this is predicted to rise with the launch of a dedicated zone at the USA event.
CPhI is particularly excited to launch this new pharmaceutical expo zone in order to increasingly connect the European and American pharma economies. The USA is home to the world's largest pharma market and it is seen as a natural progression for the leading global pharma event to provide a more accessible, pharma-specific, business and networking opportunity on the ground in the US.
Additionally, running alongside the InformEx cGMP Zone, there will also be a series of conferences and seminar opportunities to expand knowledge and resource sharing between pharma and their suppliers. Topics will include outsourcing in 2015, green chemistry and emerging markets across the globe.
Chris Kilbee, Group Director, CPhI commented; "The addition of a dedicated cGMP Zone at InformEx will bring the World's leading pharma event brand direct to the World's largest pharma economy. CPhI constantly looks to improve it's offering and our partnership with InformExis a great way to enhance the CPhI brand and expand business opportunities for the pharma industry- many of our exhibitors have long sought a platform regionally in the USA to help them source new business contacts."
"InformEx and CPhI are proud to present an interactive area of the expo floor devoted to helping pharmaceutical decision-makers find the services and knowledge they need to have a competitive edge today," Robyn Duda, Brand Director, InformEx.
