ROANOKE, Va., July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications has received the 2011 Cool Citizen Award in the media category. This award was presented on June 1, 2011 at the Cool Citizen Awards Ceremony and Affiliates Conference held in Roanoke.
Cool Citizen Awards are presented annually to individuals, businesses and organizations who have made significant progress toward the goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions through conservation, energy efficiency programs and the implementation of clean, renewable energy.
