ATLANTA, Oct. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Media Group (CMG) is promoting Brett Fennell, currently CMG's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), to CFO & Executive VP of National Ad Platforms, which includes CoxReps, Gamut and Videa. Additionally, David Palmer, currently Senior VP of Sales for CoxReps and President of HRP, will be promoted to President of CoxReps reporting directly to Fennell. Jason Morrow, currently President of TeleRep, a division of CoxReps, will be promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CoxReps. These leadership changes become effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Fennell adds National Ad Platforms to his current portfolio that also includes CMG Strategy, Engineering and Legal. Fennell was named CMG's CFO in 2014. Before joining CMG, Fennell was VP of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at Manheim where he built and provided vision for an FP&A organization that previously did not exist in Cox Enterprises' second-largest operating division. His other Cox career highlights include Assistant Vice President of FP&A at Cox Enterprises, Director of Commercial Operations at Cox Communications, and Director of FP&A at Cox Communications.

In his new role as President of CoxReps, Palmer will add Gamut to his leadership responsibilities. Palmer was named to his current position earlier this year. In 2009, Palmer became President of HRP, a division of CoxReps, and he also has held the position of Vice President, Group Manager in New York, after serving in various management and sales positions in Chicago and Los Angeles.
Morrow, formerly President of TeleRep based in New York City, joined TeleRep in 1993 as a Research Analyst and was an Account Executive in NYC before moving to the Atlanta office in 1998. While in Atlanta, he served in various sales and management capacities, including Senior VP and Director of Sales.
