Cox Business Adds Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority as New Customer
Cox Business to provide voice, data, video for world's largest conferences and events
LAS VEGAS, Aug. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Business announced today that it won a seven-year contract to provide voice, data and video services for the Las Vegas Convention Center and Cashman Center covering 3.3 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space citywide. Chosen for product and customer experience excellence, Cox Business is set to begin service to some of the world's largest conventions and special events this fall.
The contract has revenue projected at $12 million per year, based on previous contract records and sales projections. Among the services Cox Business will provide under the agreement are wireline and Wi-Fi high-speed Internet networking services and equipment, voice services, private network options and advanced TV services. In addition, Cox Business will facilitate the installation of a state-of-the-art interior 3G/4G cellular Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at the Las Vegas Convention Center which will improve cellular voice and data capabilities throughout the facility.
