Cox 11 Presents Exclusive Coverage of the Eastern Region Basketball Tournament
CHESAPEAKE, Va., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- For high school basketball players, families and fans, the Annual Eastern Region Tournament is among the top highlights of the sports calendar in Hampton Roads. The Tournament determines which girls and boys teams move on to represent the region in the VHSL State Tournament held in March.
Due to the popularity of the event in past years, this year's tournament will be held at Norfolk Scope and Cox 11's cameras will be on hand to capture the event with exclusive coverage of the Semi-Finals to be held on Saturday, February 27, as well as the tournament Finals, to be held on Monday, March 1.
Saturday's February 27 Semi-finals schedule is as follows:
- 1 p.m. (Girls)
- 3 p.m. (Boys)
- 5 p.m.(Girls)
- 7 p.m. (Boys)
Cox 11 will premiere this game on Sunday, February 28 at 9 a.m. starting with the Girls Semi-final game. On Monday, March 1 at 4 p.m., an encore edition will be run and it also can be found on Cox On Demand.
Monday's March 1 Finals match-up schedule is as follows:
- 6 p.m. (Girls)
- 8 p.m. (Boys)
Cox 11 will premiere this game at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2 starting with the Girls final game. And on Wednesday, March 3, at 4 p.m., and on Saturday, March 6, at 2:30 p.m., Cox 11 will air an encore edition. The Finals match-up also can be found on Cox On Demand.
