Cox 11 Presents Exclusive Coverage of the Eastern Region Basketball Tournament
CHESAPEAKE, Va., March 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox 11, in partnership with local schools and the City of Norfolk, will air exclusive coverage of the 2012 Eastern Region Basketball Tournament. The tournament was held February 22 through 23 in Norfolk. Cox 11 has exclusive rights in Hampton Roads to present game coverage.
The Eastern Region Basketball Tournament has become an increasingly popular sports match-up in that this event determines which girls and boys teams move on to represent the region in the Virginia High School League's State Tournament to be held March 6-10, 2012 in Richmond.
"Cox is pleased to serve as the presenting sponsor for the Eastern Region tournament. It's an important sporting event for area high schools in the region, and Cox 11's team will deliver the absolute best in coverage," says Kathryn Falk, Cox Vice President Public Affairs.
