HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cowlitz County, Washington, recently selected Intergraph®'s public safety software to reduce emergency response times and streamline operations for police, fire, and emergency medical services. The County will implement Intergraph's computer-aided dispatch (I/CAD), Mobile for Public Safety, Incident Analyst, and Business Intelligence for Public Safety, improving multi-agency collaboration and saving costs.

Intergraph's complete public safety solution will provide Cowlitz County with a multi-jurisdiction system that will optimize resources and enhance incident management. The system will enable call-handling, emergency dispatch, mobile communications, automatic vehicle location (AVL) tracking and recommendation, and dispatch-related data retrieval and analysis.
Intergraph's I/CAD system will replace Cowlitz County's current system. Using Intergraph's industry-leading solution, Cowlitz County will increase situational awareness in the 9-1-1 center. AVL will increase the accuracy of unit suggestion and reduce resultant response times. Mobile capabilities, including map access, mug shots, and AVL, will increase police, fire, and medical mobile personnel effectiveness and safety.
