Covington Adds Premier EU Competition Practitioner Andrea Zulli
BRUSSELS, Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Covington & Burling is pleased to announce that Andrea Zulli is joining the firm's EU competition group. Mr. Zulli was previously head of the Italian antitrust and competition group at a leading international practice. Mr. Zulli will be resident in the firm's Brussels office, and will play an important role in the firm's EU competition practice, in particular with regard to the life sciences sector.
Mr. Zulli advises clients in relation to all aspects of EU, international and Italian competition law, including merger control, cartels and other restrictive practices, antitrust compliance, and abuses of a dominant position. In particular, he has represented major international businesses in relation to merger control notifications to the EU, Italian and other national competition authorities, and has defended major international companies in a number of cartel investigations and other behavioural matters.
Recognised as a top competition lawyer by GCR, Chambers Europe, Legal 500 EMEA and LMG Life Sciences, Mr. Zulli has an extensive knowledge of a variety of sectors including life sciences, financial services (with a particular focus on private equity and venture capital) and consumer & luxury goods.
